Doch der zweite Blick zeigt: Der Weltkonzern lässt es bei optischen Korrekturen nicht bewenden.<P> Bei der neuen <I>Canon EOS 3000N</I> fällt sofort das Objektiv ins Auge. Zuvor im mageren Brennweitenbereich 38 bis 76 mm mitgeliefert, bietet das neue Modell einen starken Weitwinkel (28 mm) und ein besseres Tele (80 mm, ausreichend für Portraitaufnahmen). Damit bietet Canons 3000 endlich das, was man von einer Einsteiger-Spiegelreflexkamera erwarten darf: ein Objektiv für alle gängigen Fotosituationen.<P> Dazu kreative Möglichkeiten. Man kann mehrere Bilder übereinander fotografieren (Mehrfachbelichtung), ein Bild aufhellen oder abdunkeln (manuelle Belichtungskorrektur) und exakt bestimmen, welcher Bereich im Bild scharf sein soll (Schärfentiefenautomatik, eine sinnvolle Canon-Spezialität). Für <I>Stiftung Warentest</I> ist die <I>Canon EOS 3000N</I> deshalb ein Gerät "für den fortgeschrittenen Fotoamateur".<P> Hersteller Canon derweil spricht weiterhin von einem "Einsteigermodell". Einige Features sprengen aber eindeutig den Rahmen üblicher Laienkameras, besonders in Hinsicht auf die Autofokusfunktionen; etwa die Mehrfeldmessung, die gängige Problemfälle erkennen kann und vollautomatisch löst. Canon setzte noch einen drauf und vergrößerte den Autofokus-Bereich, wodurch man bewegte Objekte besser einfangen kann. Das lohnt sich vor allem bei Sportaufnahmen und ähnlichem, wenn man ein besseres Objektiv nachrüstet. Für die Fische im Aquarium oder Dackel Waldi beim Schlafwandeln reicht das mitgelieferte Objektiv.<P> Besonders stolz preist Canon die E-TTL-Blitzsteuerung. Statt eines Infrarotstrahls, wie beim herkömmlichen A-TTL, misst dabei ein echter Blitz das Objekt. Für diese Preisklasse wirklich etwas Besonderes -- doch in der Praxis ergeben sich kaum Unterschiede. Der eingebaute Aufklappblitz beherrscht dieses Verfahren ohnehin nicht, da er mit A-TTL arbeitet.<P> Eine Stärke der alten <I>Canon EOS 3000</I> wurde erhalten: Mit 350 Gramm ist auch die neue außergewöhnlich leicht, obwohl in ihr jetzt noch mehr Technik steckt. Hinzu kommt die leichte Bedienung, mit der Canon-typischen Wählscheibe und klaren Symbolen.<P> Das <I>Foto Magazin</I> stufte die <I>Canon EOS 3000</I> als "Einsteiger- und Aufsteigerkamera" ein und fand sie "rundum gelungen".
